Who Should Not Take Zileuton?

You should not take zileuton if you:
 
  • Are allergic to zileuton, Zyflo, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have high liver enzymes (found using a blood test), which is a sign of liver damage.
