How Does Zileuton CR Work?
Zileuton CR belongs to a group of medications known as leukotriene synthesis inhibitors. Leukotrienes are chemicals produced by the body in response to allergens. These chemicals cause swelling and inflammation in the airways of the lungs and constrict the muscles of the respiratory tract.
Zileuton CR works by inhibiting the production of leukotrienes, which prevents the chemicals from causing
