When a person has walking pneumonia, the symptoms are similar to those of regular pneumonia -- just less severe. For example, walking pneumonia is characterized by cough,
headache, fever, fatigue,
sore throat, and many other symptoms seen in people with regular pneumonia. The symptoms also tend to show up more gradually. Other possible symptoms that occur outside the lungs include joint pain or anemia.
Because the signs and symptoms of walking pneumonia are similar to those seen with other conditions, you should see your healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis and treatment.
