Tracleer Interactions
Tracleer® (bosentan) is a medicine prescribed to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in adults. Although it can be an effective treatment for many people, there are situations in which this may not be the best choice. To help minimize potentially serious complications, your healthcare provider will ask you about your medical history and will need a current list of all medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are taking.
If you are taking certain medications with Tracleer, adverse interactions may occur. Some of the products that may cause problems include cyclosporine, St. John's wort, and certain statin medications. Some of these interactions with Tracleer may increase your risk for dangerous side effects or make the medications less effective.
