Drug Interactions With Tiotropium

If certain medications are combined, there is a possibility for drug interactions. With tiotropium, these interactions can increase your risk of side effects or decrease the medications' effectiveness. If drug interactions are a concern, your healthcare provider may monitor you more closely or adjust your dose. Drug interactions with tiotropium are especially a concern if you are taking anticholinergic medications or acetylcholinesterase inhibitors at the same time.
