Side Effects of Roflumilast
Although most people do not experience problems while taking roflumilast, side effects can still occur. Common problems include diarrhea, nausea, and weight loss. In most cases, side effects are minor and easily treated. However, contact your healthcare provider immediately if you develop serious problems while taking the drug, such as significant weight loss, insomnia, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.

Just like any medicine, roflumilast (Daliresp™) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.

Some side effects are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
- Suicidal thoughts or behavior
- Insomnia
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Other unusual changes in mood or behavior
- Significant weight loss
- Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
- An unexplained rash
- Hives
- Itching
- Swelling of the mouth or throat
- Wheezing
- Difficulty breathing.
