Roflumilast

Roflumilast is prescribed to help control symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Unlike most COPD medications that are available as inhalers, this drug comes in tablet form and is taken once daily. Before taking it, tell your healthcare provider if you have depression, anxiety, or a history of suicidal thoughts. Side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, and weight loss.

Roflumilast (Daliresp™) is a prescription medication used to treat severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Unlike most COPD medications that are available as inhalers, roflumilast comes in tablet form and is taken just once a day.

Are There Side Effects?

Just like any medicine, roflumilast can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.

If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.

Common side effects of roflumilast include but are not limited to:

Diarrhea

Nausea
Headaches.
