While most people do not experience any problems while chewing nicotine gum (Nicorette® Gum), certain adverse effects can occur while using this medicine. Side effects, for example, are possible and include:
- Indigestion or heartburn
In most cases, reactions to this medication tend to be mild and easy to treat. However, contact your healthcare provider right away if you experience more serious problems, such as vomiting, difficulty breathing, or a severe jaw ache.
