The mometasone inhaler (Asmanex^®) can potentially interact with one other medication, ketoconazole (Nizoral^®). Combining ketoconazole with the mometasone inhaler may raise the level of mometasone in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. If you are taking these drugs together, your healthcare provider may need to decrease your dosage of the mometasone inhaler -- though this may not be necessary.
