Lungs Home > Aclidinium Drug Information

Aclidinium bromide (TudorzaTM PressairTM) is a medicine licensed to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults. It comes as a dry-powder inhaler that is used twice daily.

As a type of anticholinergic medication, aclidinium works by relaxing the muscles that surround the airways. It is a long-acting drug that helps to keep the airways open and prevent airway spasms (bronchospasms).

Before starting treatment with aclidinium, give your healthcare provider current information on any medications you are taking and discuss your medical history. This drug may not be safe for use in certain people, including those who have certain allergies or women who are pregnant or nursing.
