Who Should Not Take Arformoterol Tartrate?

You should not take arformoterol tartrate if you:
 
  • Are allergic to it, to Brovana, to formoterol (a similar medication), or to any inactive components used to make arformoterol tartrate. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have asthma and are not also being treated with a long-term asthma controller medication (such as an inhaled steroid).
