Letairis Medication Information

Letairis® (ambrisentan) is a medicine prescribed to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in adults. It works by preventing the blood vessels from constricting (narrowing).

This medicine comes as a tablet that is taken once daily. Your individual dosage will be calculated based on how you respond to the drug, other medications you are taking, and various other factors. Some of the commonly reported side effects include swelling, nasal congestion, and inflamed sinuses.

Before starting treatment with Letairis, your healthcare provider will need information on your medical history and any other medications, vitamins, or supplements you are using. He or she will also ask if you have certain lung problems or any allergies, and (if you are a woman) if you are pregnant.
