Ipratropium Bromide -- Information
Ipratropium bromide (Atrovent®) is a prescription medication used to treat a variety of conditions. It comes in the following forms:
- Ipratropium HFA inhaler, for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- Ipratropium inhalation solution (used in a nebulizer), for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- Ipratropium nasal spray, for the treatment of a runny nose.
In most cases, it is taken between two and four times a day. Your particular dosage will depend on the particular medical condition being treated, the form of the drug being used, and other factors.
