Adcirca Medication Information

Available by prescription only, AdcircaTM (tadalafil) is approved to improve exercise ability in people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). However, it is not a cure for this condition. The drug comes in the form of a tablet and is taken only once a day.

Because this medicine is not appropriate for everyone, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other medications you are using before taking Adcirca. Also, you may not be able to take Adcirca if you have certain other medical conditions, such as problems with your heart, liver, or kidneys.

Although many people do not have any problems while taking Adcirca, side effects can occur, such as headaches, nausea, and heartburn. If negative reactions do occur, they tend to be mild and easily treated.
