Who Should Not Take Ipratropium?

You should not take ipratropium if you are allergic to Atrovent, ipratropium bromide, or any of the inactive components used to make ipratropium. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients used to make ipratropium. Also, you should not take ipratropium if you are allergic to atropine, a similar medication.
