Drug Interactions With Ipratropium
There are several possible drug interactions with ipratropium. Taking ipratropium with other medications, such as acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, anticholinergic medications, or pramlintide, can lead to problems. Some of these interactions can increase your risk of side effects, decrease the effectiveness of the medications, or slow the movement of food through the digestive tract. Therefore, you should talk to your healthcare provider (prior to taking ipratropium) about any interactions that may apply to you.
