Who Should Not Take the Ipratropium and Albuterol Inhaler?

You should not take the ipratropium and albuterol inhaler if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Combivent, ipratropium bromide, albuterol sulfate, or any of the inactive ingredients used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Are allergic to atropine, a similar medication.
     
  • Are allergic to soybeans, peanuts, or soy lecithin.
