Intal Side Effects
There are a number of possible side effects with Intal that you should report immediately to your healthcare provider, including but not limited to:
- Worsening of asthma
- Signs of an allergic reaction, including unexplained rash, hives, itching, and unexplained swelling.
There are other possible Intal side effects that occur less frequently. These side effects occur in 1 to 3 percent of people. In the case of these possible side effects, it is difficult to tell whether they are actually caused by the Intal medicine or factors unrelated to the medication.
Some of these less common (but possible) side effects include but are not limited to:
- Itchy nose
- Nose burning
- Stomach ache
- Painful or frequent urination
- Joint pain and swelling
- Watery eyes
- Muscle pain.
It is possible that you may experience some or none of the Intal side effects explained above. Unfortunately, there is no way for your healthcare provider to know beforehand if you will have side effects from a medicine that you have never tried.
Therefore, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you develop any side effects while taking Intal or if something "just does not seem right." While it may not be a side effect, your healthcare provider will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.
