Who Should Not Take Dornase Alfa?

You should not take dornase alfa if you are allergic to Pulmozyme, dornase alfa, or any inactive components used to make dornase alfa. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients. Also, you should not take the drug if you are allergic to products containing the cells of Chinese hamster ovaries, since dornase alfa is made using these cells.
