What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Dornase Alfa?

If you do not take your dornase alfa as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
 

Strengths of Dornase Alfa

Dornase alfa is available in one strength -- dornase alfa 2.5 mL ampules (containing 2.5 mg of dornase alfa per ampule). It comes in a carton of 30 ampules, with five foil pouches, each containing six dornase alfa ampules.
 

Generic Dornase Alfa

Currently, there is no generic dornase alfa licensed for sale (see Generic Pulmozyme).
