Side Effects of Arformoterol Tartrate

Diarrhea, pain, water retention, and sinus infection are some of the most common side effects of arformoterol tartrate. Although most side effects do not require medical attention, some may be more serious and should be reported to your healthcare provider immediately. Some of these potentially serious arformoterol tartrate side effects include high blood pressure, irregular heart rhythm, and rapid heart rate.

 

Arformoterol Tartrate Side Effects: An Introduction

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with arformoterol tartrate (Brovana®); however, not everyone who takes arformoterol tartrate will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate the drug well. When side effects do occur, in most cases they are minor and either require no treatment or can be easily treated by you or your healthcare provider.

Side Effects With Arformoterol Tartrate to Report

There are a number of possible side effects with arformoterol tartrate that you should report immediately to your healthcare provider, including, but not limited to:
 
  • Worsening breathing problems
  • Irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia)
  • Very fast heart rate (tachycardia)
  • High blood pressure (hypertension)
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, including unexplained rash, hives, itching, unexplained swelling, wheezing, or difficulty breathing or swallowing.
