Aerobid Uses

Aerobid Use in Children

Aerobid is approved for asthma in children six years of age and older. Young children usually require help using the Aerobid inhaler correctly. Be sure to talk with your healthcare provider about the best ways to treat childhood asthma. Inhaled steroids, such as Aerobid, may slightly slow the growth of children or teenagers.

Off-Label Aerobid Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Aerobid for something other than preventing asthma attacks. Among these possible off-label Aerobid uses is the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
