Dosing Information

The dose of Adcirca your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on a number of factors, including:
  • Other medications you are taking
  • Your kidney function
  • Your liver function.
As is always the case, do not adjust your dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
(Click Adcirca Dosage for more information.)

Side Effects of Adcirca

Just like any medicine, Adcirca can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medicine will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
Some of the most common side effects of Adcirca include but are not limited to:
  • Headaches
  • Muscle aches or pains
  • Upper and lower respiratory tract infections, such as the common cold
  • Flushing or a sudden warmth and reddening of the face
  • Pain in the arms, legs, and back
  • Nausea
  • Indigestion or heartburn
  • Nasal congestion.
If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
