Accolate Uses in Children

Accolate is approved for treating asthma in children as young as five years old. Talk with your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using Accolate in children.
 

Off-Label Accolate Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Accolate for something other than preventing asthma attacks. This is called an "off-label" use of the medicine. At this time, using Accolate to treat allergies is considered to be an off-label use of the drug.
